OLD IS NEW? CIRCLING TO THE WORLD'S END

29TH JUNE - 1ST JULY

WELCOME!

We are delighted to announce that Amphorae X will be held at the University of Tasmania in Hobart on the 29th June - 1st July 2016!

The theme for this year's Amphorae conference is 'Old is New? Circling to the World's End.' The theme is inspired by our position on the map* and what we believe to be the essence of Amphorae and Classical studies.

The final programme can now be found here!

Hope to see you all in 2016!

*And also our local haunt.

Studying at Honours, Masters or PhD level? We invite all to attend, and, confidence willing, present a paper at the 2016 Amphorae conference.

Important updates on the conference, such as keynote speaker details, master classes and panels. We'll also be posting additional information about how to find us as we get closer to the date.

While we're used to surviving a Hobart winter, a simple scarf and a jacket sometimes doesn't cut it. Find great places to go that have a fireplace.
